RISK THE HEDGEHOG
risk the hedgehog is my metadow fankid. hes (quite literally) the combination of both of them and is my sweet angst-filled teenager in an au me and my bff have.
he can harness chaos energy just like Shadow and can fly with his rocket boots (like astroboy). his main chaos weapon are chaos spears and his weakest technique is chaos control he CANNOT teleport properly. one time he accidentally teleported 500 miles away from the training site it took him 2 days to get home
he got both shadow and metals inability to look approachable. he is quiet and stand-offish, rarely socializing with people. this, with the fact hes a metal sonic, people assume that he's "planning something" or has bad intentions. but in truth hes just a misunderstood kid that's trying to find himself. he struggles to find his inner literal and metaphorical purpose. his directive is to serve, but who? eggman is presumed missing. his direcive is to defeat sonic the hegdehog, but he is already defeated. these directives mention people he has never even met.
the only guidance he has is shadow the hegdehog. their relationship is more of a student/mentor thing, but risk secretly wants to be a son to him. (risk you idiot!!! youve always been a son to him!!!!!!!!)
he loves combat and is a really big daredevil despite how responsible he is. he... likes when theres risk in a situation..... GAAAAAAAAAAAAASP if theres a small chance that he might be successful he'll start grinning like a maniac and will put EVERYTHING into winning hes crazy
Risk was an unfinished project created by Eggman to create an organic Metal Sonic with Black Arm signatures, using Shadow's biological data. After Eggman's dissapearance, Risk was left behind and was eventually found by Shadow and Metal. they kind of stared at eachother like ...?????????? what???????????? the project still seemed alive, just in stasis, so after some deep thought they decided to rescue Risk and see what it was capable of. metal treated risk like a child and shadow treats him like a student (but recently hes been accepting that risk is his son).
after The Incident(tm), Metal's body was unrescuable and the world's hero (Sonic) was gone. The prejudice Risk faced caused him to internalize this complex about Metal, the world, and himself.
